The unlit screen is just too much of a hassle to use compared to the SP. If you do buy the SP, be aware that there are two models: the AGS-001 and the AGS-101. I strongly recommend seeking out a 101 model. They are more expensive, but the screen is backlit, so it is much brighter and less washed out. 4. ksilenced-kid.
The GBA SP is just a redesign of the standard GBA. The case design you have is the tribal edition so it is one of Nintenodo's designs. I've also found another AGS-101 GBA SP for just 25 euros
Hellooo, I've recently carried out a mod where I've put the brighter backlit screen from the newer GBA SP into the nicer to hold Gameboy Advance. It works great, with a brightness switch as well. I then went on to put in the option to overclock with an 8mhz CO, with a switch also, for those boring moments in the game where you're grinding out

Hi team, i just installed this LCD IPS screen on my GBA (pic of the product attached), but it seems like the colors are "washed" as you can see on the pictures below from zelda oracle of season (2 pics, one from my issued GBA SP and another from my GBC also with a IPS screen).
