Hi I own a Ford Focus 2003 1.6 Petrol Zetec. I have been experiencing problems with my car over heating but with no engine warning light or any light at all. My car has been seen by 4 different mechanics and none of whom have been able to fix it but have spotted problems.
I'm looking to do a stock rebuild simply for budget purposes. I want to be able to run a powerworks supercharger around 10psi or so. Any recommendations would be appreciated. Thanks. Sounds totally normal to me, my 1.6 unit sounds exactly like that when it's cold. Should be barely audible once it's warm. It's a lot quieter when warm and idling but there is still a tapping noise at around 1000-2000rpm even when the engine is fully warmed up. It sounds like shaking a ball bearing in a can but a steady noise.
Hi, I am considering changing my exhaust system on my Ford Focus Zetec S 1.6 to make it look like a Focus St with the single pipe each side. I want it to sound a like an ST if possible and I don't want it sound 'tinny'. I'd like it to have a nice rumble to it. If anyone has any suggestions on how
