Scott Cawthon, creator of Five Nights at Freddy’s, has announced that the upcoming Blumhouse-produced film adaptation of the series has been delayed, mostly from his own doing. Although the movie did not yet have a release date, it’s apparently going to take a little longer as it heads back to the writing stage

The only negative things I remember seeing about Halloween releasing on peacock was about one of the members of the movie, the editor if I remember right, making a story on how he didn't really like the peacock release for ends, since he thought that teather is the best way to experience the movie.
